Exit planning for IT

As the time approaches to exit and sell off or float an asset, management have to consider how to improve EBITDA and also ensure that the best possible price can be achieved.

What no one wants is to have to reduce the sale price because of unforeseen issues with IT or have to pay for expensive Sell Side Due Diligence.

So here is our solution. We work with IT management to understand the existing IT cost base to see where quick savings could be made in IT costs and also to provide management with warnings of any potential IT issues which could impact on price and what can be done to minimise the impact of those issues on price.

Finally we use our experience of IT Due Diligence to work with the IT team to assemble all the key documents and plans that are needed as part of the sale process. These can be structured and simply loaded into the data room at sales time avoiding the need to pay for Sell Side Due Diligence. In the case of most industries, this is probably unnecessary.
